Enago Discusses about Academic Writing Techniques at a Seminar in TurkeyAuthor workshop at Marmara University educates researchers on academic writing techniques
Istanbul, Turkey: In our endeavor to educate researchers and disseminate publishing knowledge to academics,Enago recently conducted a workshop at Marmara University, an oldest educational institutions in Turkey. This workshop was jointly organized byEnago and Marmara University which attracted an audience of more than 40 professionals. The attendees for the workshop included a mix of professors, experienced researchers, early-stage researchers, and graduate. As an extension ofEnago’s workshop program in Turkey, this workshop was executed in order to share more knowledge and information with University students about the Qualitative academic writing techniques.
The session was conducted by Cem Keskin, an assistant professor with Istanbul 29 Mayıs University. In his academic career, he has delivered several seminars at various universities and had been an integral part ofEnago responsible for Turkey region. He addressed the importance of adhering to a target journal’s specifications and using newer techniques to make a research paper more appealing to reviewers and attract a larger readership.
The workshop covered several keynote sessions covering varied aspects of academic writing techniques, encompassing everything from writing tools to data management. Participants claimed that they benefitted by understanding the overall process of writing and its techniques and also expressed a desire to be assisted with manuscript editing followed by publication support.
Regarding the workshop, Cem Keskin, a professional speaker associated withEnago, said, “It was great to find so many front-line professors and students engaging with the workshop on such an important and crucial topic. Our aim was to help bridge the gap between research and research writing.
