Enago’s Author Workshop Impresses Chinese Researchers

Beijing, China: Good quality research goes hand in hand with high impact articles, and Chinese researchers have been very successful in delivering both. In order to further brighten the future of Chinese researchers and simplify their publication journey, Enago in collaboration with Renmin University of China, recently organized an author workshop. This workshop tackled important issues such as dealing with peer reviewer comments and reaching the right target audience. It was conducted by Enago’s General Manager, Dr. Mingfang Lu, who has worn many (important) hats in the publishing industry.

As part of the session, Dr. Lu interacted with the audience and shared expert tips on how they could draft crisp, well-written and jargon-free manuscripts to improve chances of acceptance. Dr. Lu was very happy with the positive response from the audience and commented that, “Author education is an important step towards improving the quality as well as the quantity of research outputs. We at Enago want to help Chinese researchers share their excellent quality science with the world in the form of high impact papers.”

Whilst conveying his satisfaction with the session, Professor Jianhua Wei commented, “This is an excellent talk about academic writing and publishing, we have learned a lot from it.”
