What Happens When Humans Start Thinking Like Computers?

We invented machines that could think like humans and reduce the work of humans; these came to be known as the computers. But researchers at John Hopkin’s University have come up with a reverse strategy. How about making humans think like computers? The study, published in Nature Communications, includes “asking humans to think like computers”. A total of 1,800 subjects were tested throughout the various experiments. The team of researchers showed the people similar images that were added into the computer database, providing them with the same options to choose. People chose the same answer as computers 75 percent of the time. Perhaps even more remarkably, 98 percent of people tended to answer like the computers did. According to the results obtained, the people chose the same options which the computers selected, thereby suggesting that the humans can think like computers.
