Author Workshop about Scholarly Publishing at KSBMB International Conference 2017
Busan, Korea: As part of our continued commitment to help authors overcome the challenge to get published in international journals, Enago conducted a workshop at the 2017 International Conference of the Korean Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (KSBMB).
As the largest academic society in Korea, KSBMB conducts several conferences to promote scientific communication and share updates with researchers on the latest progression in the field of science. Enago’s workshop was aimed at providing significant insights into the publication process and share important steps that researchers are responsible for when they are considering to publish their research papers.
The session was focused towards early-stage researchers and graduate students and covered topics such as selecting the right journal and overcome rejections, introduction to the IMRAD format, and an overview of the manuscript submission process.
Dr. Christian Wallraven, a Publication and Training Consultant with Enago Academy, conducted the session, which was followed by an hour-long question and answer session in which he further explained the major differences between regional journals and SCI-indexed journals to the participants.
About the workshop, BK Kang, Country Manager, Crimson Interactive Korea said, “We welcome the opportunity to share knowledge on such an esteemed platform with this amazing group of researchers who are working so hard to get their research published and share their work with others in the field. The publishing process is arduous and Enago strives to assist researchers from ESL countries through such programs. The workshop was a wonderful learning experience for Enago to learn about issues faces by early-stage researchers and students in Korea.”
