Get a “New” Nose for Selfies!

Posting on social media is an essential part of our lives, and nothing can be more effective than photographs; to be more specific—smartphone selfies. But how often do people feel satisfied with the selfie taken? The dissatisfaction has reached such a great extent that people are opting for surgeries to get their nose “fixed” so that they appear “better” in the selfies. The surgery is performed to make noses look smaller in size. Researchers at the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons support this intervention. Instead of placing the camera at a proper distance, young people are increasingly for nose surgery. In fact, one of the researchers had to use a mathematical model to prove that the placement of the camera instead of the nose should be “changed.” Hope this gives you some insights into the art of taking selfies!
