Make a Copy of Your Brain and Analyze It Now!

In case of brain injuries, the doctors always ask for MRI or a CT scan. Imaging services like MRI and CT scan can actually scan your brain and produce high resolution images. Up till now, these were the only images we could get. However, researchers have come up with a new system which can produce the image in a 3D printable form. It involves a computer program converting areas of the brain that contain grayscale pixels into either solid black or solid white pixels. This black or white pixels form a dithered bitmap, which is a type of 3D printing. Using this, the researchers created a model of the brain, along with all its gradations. Besides that, they also produced a 3D model of the heart and such models will help visualize the internal structure of the brain.
